Public Notice
The BOC meeting for 2-11-2026 will be held in the Multipurpose Room, accessible only via the rear of the building or through the administrative office entrance to back of building. The temporary closure of the multipurpose room front entrance stairs rendered unsafe due to long-term water damage from a broken water well located next to the multipurpose room stairs.
As temperatures rise, please be aware of melting snow and ice at the building entrance. Exercise caution and look up for falling ice.
Please be advised that the Volunteer Fire Department gravel parking lot in front of the township building is currently experiencing severe icy conditions. If you choose to park in this area, please be aware you do so at your own risk. We advise exercising extreme caution.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your adherence to this safety protocol.

PRESS RELEASE FROM CRESCENT TOWNSHIP BOAD OF COMMISSIONERS
It has come to our attention that misinformation is circulating regarding the future of the Crescent Township Police Department. Let us be clear: there is absolutely no truth to rumors that the Board of Commissioners is looking to disband the force.
These baseless rumors appear to be an attempt to sway public opinion through misinformation. The Board is steadfast in its support of our officers. We are currently working with Special Labor Counsel, Jordan Shuber and Dillon, McCandless, King, Coulter & Graham, L.L.P., to negotiate a fair and equitable collective bargaining agreement with the department to ensure a continued and prosperous police presence which the Crescent Township residents are accustomed to and expect.
Sincerely,
Craig H. Alexander, Esquire
