About the Lawn Angels Program
Leaving lawns unattended can be hazardous. Crescent Lawn Care Angels is a part of the Volunteer Crescent Township umbrella of volunteer opportunities. The program is designed to help minimize the difficulties of leaving unattended lawns by matching community volunteers with elderly or disabled residents to assist with grass removal.
The Crescent Township Lawn Angels program will assist residents in their time of need after it has rained for a couple days causing the lawn to become overgrown quickly. Lawn Care Angels will be partnered with residents to help with overgrown lawns and help overgrown vegetation from going onto the streets.
The Lawn Care Angels program matches residents with volunteers when/if there are enough volunteers to fill the requests. There is no guarantee that enough volunteers will be secured. If/when there are no remaining volunteers to match, a message will be placed on this page indicating that residents may still submit their information, but that they are encouraged to find alternate assistance, as Lawn Care Angels assistance is not guaranteed.
